The final season of everyone’s favorite British drama begins in 1925 and change is in the air. Tom Branson has moved to Boston, the remaining staff worry about their jobs and neighboring estates are selling off their history. Writer/creator Julian Fellowes has given great moments to his stellar cast (Hugh Bonneville, Maggie Smith, Michelle Dockery, Laura Carmichael, Jim Carter, Rob James-Collier, Sophie McShera). Season premiere, 9 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 3, on KCTS.

She has a new job with the National Parks Department. Let’s hope this series doesn’t alter any of its zany/heartwarming characters or story lines. Final-season premiere, 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, on NBC.
