Season 5? Really? Time flies, I guess. Even though there’s no Tim Gunn to be found on this spinoff/companion series, there are plenty of reasons to tune in. We get to watch designers who didn’t make the cut on “Project Runway” return to create, stitch and emotionally break down once again for judges Alyssa Milano, Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman, in hopes of winning the $100,000 grand prize. Make it work! Season premiere, 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, on Lifetime.
It’s season five and Jenna Hamilton (Ashley Rickards) and the other seniors in this fun high-school comedy are preparing to graduate. Tonight in the season premiere, senior pranks are happening all over school. Beau Mirchoff, Jillian Rose Reed and Brett Davern round out the cast. 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, on MTV.
Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, the dynamic duo of sketch-comedy, return for a fifth season of socially relevant and very funny antics. Tonight’s season premiere features everyone’s favorite anger translator (Key) meeting a presidential candidate, singing pirates and a football team getting hyped up before a game. 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, on Comedy Central.
In Season 5 of this quirky comedy series, things are a little different. Each episode tells a single story centering on two characters. The opener is a hoot, where we flashback to the early ’90s to see how feminist bookstore owners Toni (Carrie Brownstein) and Candace (Fred Armisen) met. Are you ready for “Dynasty”-style intrigue, shoulder pads and (yes!) a dance-off?
Bring on the season premiere, 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, on IFC.

There’s a lot of delicious story lines ahead this season, especially for the female characters (Michelle Dockery, Sophie McShera and Maggie Smith). Brew a pot of tea and settle in for a delightful season five. 9 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, on PBS.

The big ol’ hit zombie drama is back, and we’ll finally discover what former small-town sheriff Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) has in store for the residents of Terminus when he stated “They’re screwing with the wrong people” in last season’s finale. Bring on the walkers! Season 5 premiere, 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, on AMC.
