The Emmys air at 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, on Fox. Here are the nominees we’ll be cheering for most loudly.

tmTatiana Maslany – Maslany finally got a long-deserved nomination for playing multiple roles in the clone drama “Orphan Black” on BBC America. Give this woman an Emmy already.



jtJeffrey Tambor – Character actor Tambor (known for “The Larry Sanders Show” and “Arrested Development”) was a revelation as transgender woman Maura Pfefferman in “Transparent,” a comedy series from Amazon.


‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’ – Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) emerged from an underground bunker with a delightful burst of quirky humor in this Netflix fish-out-of-water comedy series, due in no small part to both Kemper and writer/producer Tina Fey.uks

All the conspiracy stuff can get very complicated, but is worth watching for the amazing lead performance(s) of Tatiana Maslany in multiple roles. Seriously, this actress is amazing. 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, on BBC America.
