It took awhile for this “Walking Dead” spinoff to find its bearings, but as the show begins the second half of its second season, it seems to be finding its own pace and rhythm. The main group of human survivors (including Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Ruben Blades and Colman Domingo) have escaped a conflagration and are now split up and headed in different directions. If you’re not in the mood for flowers on Valentine’s Day, you might want to spend time with Rick Grimes and the gang as they attempt to escape the zombie-overrun community of Alexandria. It’s not to everyone’s taste, but this is gripping, must-see TV. Midseason premiere, 9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, on AMC.
This is the returning fall show that rabid fans have been waiting for.
The big ol’ hit zombie drama is back, and we’ll finally discover what former small-town sheriff Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) has in store for the residents of Terminus when he stated “They’re screwing with the wrong people” in last season’s finale. Bring on the walkers! Season 5 premiere, 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, on AMC.
The second half of season four begins with three survivors (Rick, Carl and Michonne) of the events at the prison separated and looking to find a new safe place to battle the undead. 9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, on AMC.
Life initially seems well and good for the human survivors in the fourth-season premiere of this terrific drama (based on the comic-book series by Robert Kirkman). Oh, but there’s trouble brewing, both out in the woods and within the prison walls. The episode is capped by a great zombie battle and a last-minute revelation. Season premiere, 9 p.m. Sunday on AMC.
